Microsoft had made a great mistake not to differentiate its products and/or its services from only concentrating on the operating system of Windows. This is because Microsoft should have concentrated on something else by shifting the concentration of the organization’s managers and the organization’s other employees into something new and innovative. Microsoft should have come up with a new operating system like the Android operating system to ensure that there would be some form of newness in the operating system focused and concentrated by Microsoft. However, this transition and shift in focus did not take place (Jones & George, 2016).
